Churches typically have issues other "commercial" properties do not possess. Especially if it's an old historic building in a historic part of town. I have seen LPS on church steeples that looked like it was installed with the building in the 1850s. Most churches have budgetary concerns (which I'm sympathetic to). Staff changeover means some things get left undone or unknown. The pastoral staff and members will frequently help with construction labor to keep costs down. When this happens, and these people are no longer available, it's cause for concern.
